TOYS & MERCH: Laser cutting, sewing machines, badge maker, packaging…these are all examined in our modules, and students incorporate them into their practice.

DRAWING: We like to push drawing to the limit. We learn dry media like charcoal, graphite, conte crayons and more; but we also learn about mark making, collaboration, exploratory technique, and ideation.

INTAGLIO PRINT PROCESS: Planographic, stencil & alternative practices too. We learn screen printing, mono printing, etching, letterpress, AND the Risograph. If you’re into it, there’s Advanced printmaking in year two with stone lithography and aquatint.

DIGITAL SKILLS: Procreate, PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier, AfterEffects. These tools directly support what we do in the print room, but also stand on their own with lives on computers and in the digital space.

BOOKBINDING & PUBLISHING: We make zines, comics & books in our modules and as extracurricular projects. We head to Thought Bubble and the London Book Fair each year to learn more.

RELIEF PRINTMAKING: Lino cut, wood blocks, collagraphs…just the start of what you might do in our print room.

WET MEDIA: Gouache, watercolour, ink. Not much to add, except it’s a lot of fun to explore colour, shape, and composition with paint.
